I've been thinking about how we sometimes spend years searching for what's next, only to discover that what we're looking for has been with us all along.

We try new things. We develop new skills. We build careers, businesses, and lives around what we're good at.

And sometimes, we're so busy moving forward that we forget to ask whether the direction we're moving in still feels right.

I've experienced this myself.

Over the years, my creative and professional life has taken me through many chapters—from meditation and storytelling to entrepreneurship, web design, teaching, and art.

I've learned something from every one of them. And yet, through all those different experiences, there has been one thread I've kept returning to.

Reflection. Writing. Imagination. Guiding people through creative visualizations.

It's something I began doing back in 2010, and no matter where life has taken me, it's the work that has always felt most natural.

For a long time, I thought finding my next chapter meant discovering something new.

But perhaps the next chapter isn't always about becoming someone different.

Perhaps it's about making room for the parts of ourselves we've been carrying all along.

I wonder how often we overlook what comes naturally to us because we're so focused on what we should be doing.

How often do we build lives around our abilities, responsibilities, and other people's expectations, while quietly setting aside the things that make us feel most alive?

And what might happen if we gave those parts of ourselves a little more attention?

Not necessarily to turn them into careers or businesses.

Not even to do anything productive with them.

Simply because they matter to us.

A question to ponder today

What is something you've loved doing throughout your life, something you keep coming back to, that you know you want to invest more time doing?

Maybe it's writing, drawing, singing, being in nature, helping others, exploring ideas, or something you haven't thought about in years.

You don't have to turn it into a goal or make a plan.

Just give it a little space. A little attention.

Sometimes, that's where a new chapter begins.
